Asacha Media Group is a newly formed IP creation and content production group with financial support from Oaktree Management. It aspires to become a European leader in the media production industry. The business predominantly focuses on the growth in demand for non-English language scripted content from streaming platforms and European broadcasters. As a first step, Asacha Media Group has acquired a majority stake in Italian production houses, Picomedia and Stand by Me and French production company Mintee Studio. The company continues to acquire more production companies to expand its European markets.

The challenge was to develop an overarching brand identity for the Asacha Media Group with the primary objective of effectively connecting all the diverse activities within the business and positioning the master brand as the beacon for the group. The group inherits its name from a complex volcano located in the southern part of the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia.

The visual identity aims to capture the spirit of scale and stature of this magnificent landscape and convey the impact of the company within the industry. The geometric and simple logotype is paired with the versatile and highly legible sans-serif Basis Grotesque as the primary typeface. This is accompanied by a highly contrasting colour palette to reinforce the potency of the brand’s aspiration. The subtle yet dynamic approach instils a sense of restraint and majesty to allow the brand to engage with a vast range of diverse content without losing its status as the influential leader of the group.
