Zeppotron is a production company formed in 2000 from the core writing and production team behind The 11 O’Clock Show. They boast an impressive portfolio of non-scripted and scripted comedy hits including Would I Lie to You? (BBC One), 8 Out of 10 Cats (C4), Channel 4’s Alternative Election Night (C4), The Mash Report (BBC Two), and The Rack Pack (BBC iPlayer original feature film). Along the way they made Charlie Brooker’s Screenwipe (BBC Four), You Have Been Watching, the first series of Black Mirror (C4) and much more.
Zeppotron has a reputation throughout the industry for making high-quality thought-provoking comedy and entertainment shows. The company attracts the very best talent, both on and off-screen, and prides itself on being a company that broadcasters can trust and that people like to work for.
Through collaboration with Studio Blackburn, the visual identity was developed and inspired by the linear characteristics of the letter ‘Z’. The graphical ‘Z’ acts as a striking motif throughout all applications and compliments the company’s high-profile content. The animated monogram is revealed by the seamless interaction of three angled lines and combined with the striking blue colour palette makes for a distinctive brand. The direct and unadorned visual identity conveys the maverick and playful personality of this well-loved established brand.
